Retreat Information

We covenant with one another to attend all 3 retreats at the same location, and to be present from beginning to end; no late arrivals or early departures.

Santa Cruz Dates:

October 21-24, 2025
January 20-23, 2026
April 14-17, 2026

Atlanta Dates:

November 18-21, 2025
February 3-6, 2026
April 28- May 1, 2026

Travel Terms

We recommend you choose the location nearest you geographically. If you do not, you will be responsible for covering any extra travel cost that is incurred above what is budgeted per retreatant.

Cohort members are required to arrive at the designated airport by 1:30 p.m. on arrival day. The designated airports are San Jose (SJC) for Santa Cruz and Atlanta (ATL) for Atlanta.

Retreats end at 11am and shuttles will arrive back at the airport around noon. Please budget your departure times accordingly; we recommend flights after 1:30pm. Note: ATL is the busiest airport in the world, plan accordingly.

Staff will book their own travel and submit receipts for an internal transfer reimbursement to their Cost Center.

The cost for 2025/2026 is $3,000. You may use your training timeline budget for this course. There will be a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 upon acceptance, and then an internal transfer for the remaining balance of $2,000 will be made in October.

Scholarship money and/or flexible payment plans are available for staff who would not be able to participate in the Good Way without them. If you would like to be considered for a Good Way scholarship or a flexible payment plan, please describe your situation and need.

Participation Commitment

By clicking 'Submit' you are committing to attend all retreats in full (no arriving late, leaving early, or missing retreats, barring a force majeure event), and complete all of the required readings and assignments. Failure to fulfill this covenant may result in a financial penalty to your cost center, up to the full cost of the experience ($5,000).
